Speaker: Minister Jamar A. Boyd, II

Reared in the “Low country” and “Pee‐Dee” of South Carolina, an intense love for \’the country’, church and family arose. A 2016 graduate of Georgia Southern University, Jamar graduated with a B.S. in Sport Management with a minor in Business; currently he is pursuing his Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University (STVU).

At the 73rd Annual Georgia NAACP State Conference, he assumed the office of Treasurer of the Georgia NAACP Youth & College Division. Subsequently, Jamar was elected to the office of President of the Georgia NAACP Youth & College Division on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the initial 2018 Georgia NAACP State Conference quarterly meeting.

His theme for life, \”Going forward in faith, humility and optimism\”, has enabled him to pursue his passion and purpose in Christ.
